You’ve probably heard the phrase, “We are all one,” especially in spiritual circles. It’s a lovely idea—one that makes us feel connected and part of something bigger. But I’ve come to see that it’s not quite as simple as it sounds. The more I’ve explored my own journey, the more I’ve realized that Oneness isn’t about losing ourselves in some collective whole. It’s about integrating all parts of who we are—our soul, our human self, our master, and even the various aspects of ourselves from this and many lifetimes. This is how we discover our unique Oneness.
When we say, “we are all one,” it can sometimes feel like it implies we’re meant to blend into some collective soup, losing our individuality. But here’s the truth as I see it: We’re each a unique expression of our own Oneness. And that’s something to really sit with.
What Do I Mean by Aspects?
Let’s talk about aspects for a moment, because they’re a big part of this integration I’m talking about. We all have aspects—parts of ourselves that were created during different experiences, challenges, or even specific roles we’ve played throughout life (or many lives). Some of these aspects were born out of tough times, like when we went through trauma or emotional struggles, and part of us split off to handle the situation. Other aspects might be from moments of wisdom and strength.
Think of it this way: aspects are like characters that have taken on different roles in the play of our life. Maybe one part of you is the warrior, another is the caregiver, and another is the healer. Each aspect was created for a reason, and at some point, they were helpful. But often, they still operate separately from the rest of who we are, causing us to feel fragmented or conflicted.
The beautiful thing is that these aspects don’t need to be “fixed.” They just need to come home. Integration is about welcoming these parts of yourself back into the fold, so you can feel whole again. That’s what personal oneness really is—not dissolving into some collective, but bringing all of YOU together.
The Path to Personal Oneness and Integration
Here’s something else to think about. A lot of people get caught up in the idea of Oneness as a collective experience. And while we’re all unique expressions of the same Source, that doesn’t mean we lose ourselves in it. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. We’re here to be sovereign beings—unique, individual expressions of that Source. We each have our own energy, our own experiences, and our own creations. It’s not about blending in. It’s about fully owning who we are.
Sovereignty means you are responsible for your journey, your creations, and your experiences. It means that while you’re part of a bigger whole, you’re also entirely you. You’re not here to become like everyone else. You’re here to express your own divinity in a way that only you can.
This is where the deeper meaning of Oneness comes in. It’s about integrating all parts of yourself—your soul, your human self, your master, and all those aspects I mentioned earlier. You’re not merging with something external. You’re becoming whole within yourself.
Sovereignty and Personal Oneness Within
Now, let’s get real. That popular New Age idea of “we are all one” can sometimes feel a bit off, especially when it implies that we should all be the same, think the same, or experience life the same way. But that’s not what it’s about at all. Each of us has our own unique journey. We have our own realizations, our own creations, and our own way of expressing life.
And that’s the beauty of it. Your Oneness isn’t about looking outside for some kind of collective validation. It’s about turning inward and finding your own wholeness. You’re not here to fit into a mold. You’re here to live your own path, to integrate all the different parts of yourself, and to express that in the way only you can.
The Joy of Welcoming Yourself Home
When you start integrating all the different aspects of yourself, there’s a real sense of peace and joy that comes with it. You stop feeling fragmented or like parts of you are missing. You no longer have those inner conflicts, because every part of you is finally allowed to come home.
And this is the ultimate form of self-love—welcoming every part of you back into wholeness. You realize that nothing is outside of you. You don’t need to compare yourself to others or seek validation from the world. Everything you need is already within you, waiting for you to embrace it.
Final Thoughts
So, when I talk about Oneness, I’m not talking about blending into a collective consciousness or losing who you are. I’m talking about integrating all parts of yourself—your soul, your human, your master, and all your aspects from this and other lifetimes—into a place of wholeness. That’s where your true sovereignty lies.
We’re each unique beings, connected to the same Source but expressing that connection in our own way. And that’s the magic of it all. So, dear friends, as you walk your path, remember: your Oneness is about you. It’s about embracing every part of yourself and allowing your own beautiful, unique expression to shine.
