A DreamWalk with My Dad

I was privileged to DreamWalk my Dad this week. He transitioned Monday morning, May 14th, exactly seven days past his 90th birthday. (For more information about DreamWalking, visit the Crimson Circle’s DreamWalker website.)

I was concerned that perhaps it was not possible to offer this service to him since I had not talked with him about it while he was still able to communicate on the human level. But I had several “conversations” with him energetically.

About two weeks before his crossing, he became rather alert and clear and asked for the family to gather around. He sang some of his favorite hymns, quoted some favorite scriptures, and was more present than he had been for some time.

I didn’t make it to the hospital in time to actually witness all this, but I did talk to him energetically in the car on my way there.

After that day, I didn’t feel his presence so much with me; however, I continued to prepare myself just in case he wanted a DreamWalk. I did have some doubts and second-guessing about my ability. This was the first DreamWalk I had done on my own since taking the DreamWalker Death Transition™ School a couple of years ago.

After consulting several physicians and a lot of soul-searching, the family decided it was time that we let Dad go. We reluctantly placed him in hospice care and finally on May 14th I received an early morning phone call from one of my brothers telling me Dad was deteriorating quickly. Soon after the phone call, I began the two-hour road-trip to southeastern Ohio. Sometime between 8:15 and 8:45 am, I began to sense Dad’s energy. We began to talk and I explained to him that a white light that he might see was the disconnection of the cord linking him to the physical world. I told him that was OK to do that and the white light was just the beginning. I reminded him that I would be available to accompany him on the path to the “Bridge of Flowers” if he wanted me to.

I arrived at the nursing home where he was being cared for. My nephew met me at the door, hugged me, and whispered in my ear, “Grandpa passed on about 8:30.” Truthfully, I was not surprised and a bit relieved because I knew he had endured so much in the past few years. At this point, I still wasn’t sure if he wanted a DreamWalk. I spent the afternoon and evening with my mom and the rest of the family.

The next morning, Tuesday, on my way home to Dayton, Ohio, I began to feel Dad’s energy once again. Suddenly, I knew where he was. I sensed him at the Bridge of Flowers. He had been a minister and favored dark suits and black ties. There he was, looking nearly fifty years younger in his suit and black tie, grinning that contagious grin that I’ll always remember, and waving good-bye. But I felt he wasn’t quite ready to take that final step into the arms of the angelic beings whom I could sense were already celebrating his return. Instead, I sensed that he was waiting to see that everything was OK here. Tears of joy flowing down my face, I stopped at a convenient rest area along the highway, and just sat on a park bench and allowed the celebration to take place in my heart.

On Wednesday the day of the visitation, I awakened early and sat in my office to practice deep breathing while listening to one of my favorite CDs, “The Silent Path,” by Robert Coxon. Once again, I began to feel the presence of my dad. I felt him on the Bridge. I saw that grin. He waved one more time, and then, still grinning, he reached out his hand to the Grand Beings who were there to welcome him home. He was gone.

I turned away from that beautiful bridge and breathed my energy fully back to this side.

I am touched and honored beyond words that he chose to gift me with this experience.

I’m grinning, too.

Abundance

Greetings, dear ones. We are the Council of Light, and we love you dearly.

It is with great honor that we speak with you today, sharing insights to help you consider how you wish to create your world moving forward.

We have spoken before about the new world that is yours to create. Never before has such an opportunity existed. You have succeeded in many ways, and now you stand before a universe of possibilities. It is time to break away from old patterns and ways of thinking. While those ways may have served you in the past, they cannot function in the new energy. They were designed to preserve the status quo, to maintain the old ways, and now, they no longer have a place in this new era. Though there may have been occasional shifts, the systems of the past mostly worked to conserve what was already known.

Now, you have the opportunity for new ways of thinking, for different perspectives. This is the time to unleash your imagination, for it is through imagination that new worlds are born. Let your creations be unlimited by what has been. Allow yourselves to envision a world far beyond what you have experienced so far.

We cannot tell you exactly what that world will look like, for it is up to you to create it. What we can tell you is that the old ways have no place in the new energy. They cannot. The vibrations of the past cannot align with the frequencies of the new. If they do try to align, they will be forever changed, so much so that the old ways will no longer apply in the same way. In fact, they will be unrecognizable.

Allow yourselves to imagine a world of complete abundance for all. Imagine being able to explore any place and time at your will. Picture all of humanity living in harmony, loving one another. We cannot tell you what that would be like, because it has never been created on a global scale. But you now have the potential to do so.

Redefining Abundance

While we are speaking of abundance, we invite you to expand your view of what it means. Many of you equate abundance primarily with money. We understand that in your world, money plays an important role, but we ask you to think beyond that.

In our perspective, abundance applies to everything—known and unknown. Abundant love, joy, peace, food, health—everything is available in abundance. These things are already yours, and when they are needed, they will appear.

You are provided for abundantly, always. So why, you may ask, is there so much lack in the world? The world you see today has been created based on an ancient belief in lack. Fear of not having enough has been ingrained in human consciousness for eons, long before you descended into physical form. The idea of lack has become so deeply rooted that it is seen as the natural order of things—where some have, others do not, and many fall in between.

But now, you have the opportunity to create a world where lack is not a concept. You can create a world where every individual knows, without a doubt, that whatever is needed will be provided.

Shifting the Way You Work

Many of you hesitate to step fully into your spiritual work because of fear—fear that you will not be able to make ends meet. As a result, you cling to what seems to be your only means of support. We are not suggesting that you immediately quit your jobs to pursue your spiritual passions. Instead, we encourage you to shift how you perceive your current work.

Consider your jobs as transitional. They are temporary, supporting you until you are ready to move into your new work fully. Some of you will continue to work where you are, because the lightwork you do is needed in those places. You may not realize it, but your presence is impacting those around you in profound ways.

For others, the time will come when you are ready to move fully into your new roles. Be patient. The things you have set in motion are aligning perfectly, in their own time.

Embracing the New

Open yourselves to a new way of seeing your circumstances. You may dream of quitting your jobs to write, create, or pursue your passions full time. And while that day will come, it may not be right now. It is not an either-or decision. Your current resources support your passions, and they are a stepping stone to what is next.

Honor your work in the world, while also giving time and energy to your spiritual work. For now, it may be about balance. But know that you are supported and loved wherever you are on your path.

Some of you have already created a life that allows you to follow your passions fully, and we honor you for that. No matter where you are, you are doing the right thing for you. There is no wrong path. Move at the pace that feels right for you. There is no need to rush, and there is plenty of time.

Remember, the work you are doing—both seen and unseen—is resonating throughout the universe. It is freeing all of us to move forward. And you are not yet fully aware of the impact you are making, but in time, you will be.

Always With You

We love meeting with you in this way, sharing these words. And we honor our partner for allowing us to speak through him. The time has come for these messages to be shared, and we will continue to speak with you for as long as needed.

We will never leave you.

We are the Council of Light, and we love you dearly.

You Changed Everything: A Message from the Council of Light

Greetings, dear ones. We are the Council of Light, and we come with great love and reverence for each of you. Today, we invite you to remember the truth of who you really are. For too long, many of you have forgotten, and yet, even in the forgetting, you have never truly lost your way.

You are deeply loved and honored for what you have accomplished. Across the vastness of this universe, beings have gathered to bear witness to your journey. Some have come to pay their respects, while others are here out of curiosity, for the word has spread: this time, the Great Experiment did not fail. You changed everything. The final attempt, after so many cycles, was a success—and it was because of you.

We wish to speak of a story today, one rarely discussed, but one we feel you are ready to hear.

The Unprecedented Time of Human Growth and Spiritual Evolution

In the area of human growth, there has never been a time or opportunity quite like now on this planet. While there have been many advanced civilizations on Earth, such as Atlantis and Lemuria, humanity today has surpassed even those in spiritual evolution. Although these societies developed amazing technologies, they never reached the spiritual heights that modern humans are now achieving.

Never before has there been such an opportunity to expand consciousness throughout the universe. In fact, there were many who doubted this effort would succeed. The Earth Experiment had almost been dismissed as a failure. Yet, you humans changed everything when you chose to move beyond war and destruction. Enough of you stopped believing in the old ways that were not working. You recognized that methods tried for centuries had lost their validity. You began to ask, “What has changed?”

Life After Death – A Different Perspective

Let’s talk about something that often stirs up a lot of questions: what we call “the afterlife.” Now, this is a topic I find fascinating because we humans carry so many beliefs about what happens after we leave our physical bodies. But here’s the thing: there really isn’t an “afterlife.” There’s only life. What we refer to as “death” is simply a transition, a change in form. Life itself is eternal.

It’s easy to get wrapped up in the idea that life is divided into before and after death, but the truth is, life never stops. There’s no beginning and no end—just an ongoing flow of experiences. So, while we experience what we call physical death, it’s more like a shift, a change of scenery if you will, rather than an ending. This shift is part of a much bigger picture of who we are as eternal beings.
