Chapter 17: The Great Illusion and the Beast

One of the angels who carried the bowls of divine healing came to me and said, “Come, and I will show you the great illusion that has held humanity captive, the veil that is now being lifted so that true freedom can be realized.”

The Vision of the Great Illusion

In the spirit of revelation, I was carried away to a place where the collective unconscious of humanity was laid bare. There, I saw a magnificent and alluring figure sitting on a scarlet beast. The figure was adorned with luxurious garments, glittering jewels, and symbols of earthly power, exuding an aura of seduction and allure. Yet, her beauty was an illusion, masking the emptiness and suffering that lay beneath.

This figure, whom I came to understand as the embodiment of the Great Illusion, represented the seduction of materialism, the allure of power for its own sake, and the ways humanity has sought fulfillment in external sources. She was named “The Mother of Illusions,” for she gave birth to desires and distractions that led souls away from their inner truth, feeding the illusion that fulfillment could be found outside of oneself.

The scarlet beast she rode was covered with blasphemous names, a symbol of the egoic forces of separation, control, and manipulation that had long sought to rule the world. The beast had seven heads and ten horns, representing the many ways in which fear and separation had infiltrated human consciousness, creating systems of power that kept humanity asleep.

The Veil of Seduction

The Great Illusion held a golden cup in her hand, filled with the intoxicating wine of unfulfilled desires and the false promises of external wealth and power. This wine had caused many to lose their way, drunk on the belief that happiness and worth could be purchased or achieved through domination and separation. Her allure was powerful, and many had worshipped at her feet, not realizing that her promises were empty.

As I gazed at this vision, I was filled with both awe and sorrow, for the hold of the Great Illusion on humanity had been strong. Yet, there was a deeper truth waiting to be revealed.

The Mystery Unveiled

The angel said to me, “The beast you see represents the structures of fear and separation that have come and gone, rising and falling as humanity has sought power over one another. These structures are illusions that seem strong but are impermanent, for only love and truth are eternal. The allure of the Great Illusion has been powerful, but her time is ending. The light of awakening is dissolving her influence.”

The seven heads of the beast symbolized the cycles of power that have played out throughout human history, while the ten horns represented the illusion of strength that these cycles wielded. Yet, the angel reminded me that these were simply manifestations of humanity’s collective fear and disconnection from the Divine.

The Fall of the Great Illusion

The vision continued, and I saw that the very forces that had supported the Great Illusion began to turn against her. The systems built on greed and control began to collapse from within, no longer able to sustain themselves in the light of the new consciousness. The illusion crumbled, and the once-glittering figure was revealed to be a shadow, dissolving into nothingness.

The angel declared, “See how the old world is passing away, and how the power of illusion is no more. The false promises of separation are being exposed, and the world is awakening to a new truth. The Great Illusion held sway over the hearts of many, but love is now reclaiming its rightful place.”

A Call to See Beyond the Veil

The angel spoke to me one final time, “Let those who have the eyes to see and the hearts to understand awaken to this truth: The allure of external power and wealth is fleeting, and only the inner kingdom of love and unity is eternal. The time has come to release the old ways and to see through the illusion, embracing the grace of divine truth.”

As the vision faded, I felt a wave of hope and liberation wash over me. The fall of the Great Illusion was not a moment of destruction but one of revelation, a reminder that the power of love and truth was always stronger than the forces of separation. The world was being reborn, and humanity was being invited to step into a new reality, where fulfillment flows from the divine essence within.
